The Information We Collect:
All personal information (including, but not limited to, first and last name, email address, time zone, and, in limited cases, phone numbers) is voluntarily shared by any members, students, volunteers, and anyone connected with Common Ground Pacific. However, volunteers, students’ parents, members, and anyone connected with Common Ground Pacific may be asked to share their email address, in addition to their first and last names, for contact purposes. Nevertheless, all information is provided voluntarily by the participant (i.e., volunteers, students, members, and anyone connected with Common Ground Pacific).
Given the social and educational purposes of Common Ground Pacific, information such as email addresses, phone numbers, and first and last names may be collected, used, or disclosed by others who are participating in that interaction. Additionally, some services of Common Ground Pacific (including, but not limited to, publications seen on the official website, social media posts, and recognition seen on the official website) are created to provide others with information about member activity, like giving credit to a specific member who created a publication, social media post, and more.
Please note that Common Ground Pacific needs certain information to provide Common Ground Pacific’s services to you. If you prefer not to provide certain information or would like it deleted at any point in time, we understand and will still offer Common Ground Pacific’s services to the extent possible.
How We Collect It:
User-provided Information: When signing up for Common Ground Pacific’s services (i.e., tutoring, volunteering, or becoming a student), users are prompted to provide their first and last names and email addresses. After collecting this information, it is used solely for communication. Please note that it will be used in communication in which others are a part of the same interaction. Information otherwise not required is provided voluntarily by the participant (i.e., member, volunteer, tutor, student, or any member connected to Common Ground Pacific). At any point in time, if you prefer not to provide information or wish for it to be deleted, please contact Common Ground Pacific directly, and we will gladly fulfill your request.

These events will not be recorded, photographed, or posted at any time by Common Ground Pacific or its members, volunteers, tutors, students, and anyone connected with Common Ground Pacific. Additionally, all events are voluntarily participated in by attendees.
How We Use It:
Communicating with You: Common Ground Pacific will use provided email addresses and phone numbers to communicate with those who voluntarily provided information to convey opportunities (ex., tutoring, students, curriculum building, etc.), events, as well as updates and news.
Meeting Legal Requirements: Some information is necessary for Common Ground Pacific to comply with applicable laws around the world, to respond to a court order, judicial, or other government request, subpoena, or warrant in the manner legally required. Additionally, voluntarily signed liability waivers require the first and last name, as well as signature, of the parties involved—in many cases, both minors and their legal guardians will be prompted to sign liability waivers.
When and How We Share It:
Sometimes Common Ground Pacific has to share information with service providers who are partnered with Common Ground Pacific—only when the participant voluntarily agrees to such information being shared. We require that these partnerships process such information in compliance with this Privacy Notice and authorize them to use the information only for the purposes for which it was provided by Common Ground Pacific.
